Stuff: Opening post
Apr. 6th, 2003 11:48 amThe first post is the hardest.
I mean, OK, you've clicked here, and you're checking it out. Can I grab you like the first sentence of a good novel, or are you just going to move on?
I hope you're going to stay here. This ought to be interesting. I hope.
Anyone, I wouldn't be posting unless I was trying to put off working on stuff for school. Am I a student? No, I am a teacher, and I, too, hate homework, especially with a week left in the third quarter.
I am in a holding pattern, too. The third and final show of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" goes up at 7 tonight at the Regent in Arlington, Mass. It's been an absolute hoot the last two days at the Grace Church in Framingham. I have never really been on stage before, so this has been pretty cool. My daughter has done a tremendous job as Cobweb. It's been neat to watch her. Me? I have no lines. I am a prop with legs. I get to be an ogre, and I stand around and look confused. I can do this.
OK, time to work.
