I know this hasn't been a particularly exciting journal to follow so far. I am still poking around LiveJournal, trying to figure things out, and real-life refuses to get any easier. At least we're just two days away from vacation. The plans include the well-known Speckled Trout Inn event in Vermont this weekend and, I hope, at least one Red Sox game. I'd also like to get to the Joshua Chamberlain House in Maine.
I want to get down to some serious writing at some point soon. That's one of the main reasons I decided to get involved in this journal. I have some baseball stuff I want to write, along with some school stuff. I am working on a "Day of Silence" piece right now.
It's been fun to keep up with some folks whom I do not see much during the week. Maybe, if I can start making the time, they can keep up with me, too.
