Pardon me while I whine . . .
Nov. 4th, 2003 04:36 amI am sitting here at 4:30 a.m. after just calling into school sick for the second day in a row and the fifth time in seven days.
I have had this life-sucking illness for more than three weeks, and just when I think I am ready to go back to school, it drags me back in
I hate missing school, but I hate feeling like crap. Lots of good stuff coming up. Nataliia and I are hosting a party for the other teachers on Friday, and we're having our big Veterans Day ceremony Monday. Yesterday, I got a flag that was flown on a mission over Afghanistan, from someone my kids had been writing to.
Then, next Thursday, 10 kids and I leave for the National Honor Society convention in Orlando, Fla. All in all, loads of fun if I feel better.
Not doing much on the SCA front. Dropping off the discussion boards for a bit for the sake of my sanity.
More whining to come.
Liam
