teaching
Interesting week last week.
First week back from vacation.
Had one student ask me if 1600 was a perfect SAT score, and another quietly pull out his phone, put it back and then ask to go to the bathroom. He was surprised when I said no and told him why.
Junior Semiformal Friday night, and the kids got a real kick out of teachers coming to see them. (That's encouraged at our school). I love seeing them dressed up. Our daughter was there, and she pretended to be upset that we came (well, we had to pick her up), but she did dance with me.
Finished National Honor Society selection, which is a good thing.
We are having a union meeting this week that I heard will decide whether we should go to a work-to-rule action, which would mean doing nothing outside the specifics of our contract. I would not enjoy that.
