Update from the road
Jul. 6th, 2004 08:29 amBeen traveling and loving it.
From Friday afternoon until Monday morning we were camping in Warrensburg, NY, at east Kingdom War Camp. This is one of my facorite sites. The weather was great and so were the food and the company.
Sunday I went to Saratoga, NY, shopped Main Street and went to the National Thoroughbred Hall of Fame.
Monday, I drove several hundred miles through the Adirondack Park, stopping at Lake Placid (Olympics museum, shopping and seeing the rink where we beat the Russians) and the
Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake. Amazing stuff.
I am staying with a friend in Rome, NY for a day or two. Probbaly off to Syracuse today. Sadly, the Baseball Hall of Fame is not worth the trip because it's being rebuilt.
My wife is letting me use her new Saturdan, and it's wonderful.
