I realize I have been -- in the classic rock and roll words of America -- "one poor correspondent . . . "

It's been a satisying summer. A lot of reading and Internet RPing. I have played a lot of board games, been to Boston a number of times and have been on several SCA camping excursions.

Highlights have included visiting lake Placid and driving through the Adirondacks. Visited the Adirondack Museum and the Norman Rockwell Museum. Toured Fenway Park and caught a little if Shakespeare on the Boston Common.

We will be leaving tomorrow for two weeks at the Pennsic War in western Pennsylvania. We will be back Sunday, August 23.

[livejournal.com profile] evilnicola takes her driver's test tomorrow morning, then we leave. [livejournal.com profile] theresat will be arriving this evening to go out with us. I look forward to spending some time with her. N. has already left for the war.

If you are going, please come see me. I will be, as usual, in the Shark Pit (called Quatrefoil on the official map). For those of you not going, send me a private e-mail with an address, and I will send a postcard during the second week. billtoscano@comcast.net

lawful good
You are a Crusader, Lawful Good.

Lawful good characters are committed to opposing
evil and believe evil may best be opposed
through institutions created for that purpose,
such as church and government. They are honest
and dependable, defenders of underdogs and
staunch supporters of justice. They champion
the cause of greater good. As a general rule,
lawful good characters do not lie, bring harm
to the innocent, torture, refuse an honest
appeal for aid, work outside the law, take
bribes, or betray their friends. King Arthur
is one example of a lawful good character.
Another is Joan d'Arc.
