Eleven wins
Oct. 5th, 2004 06:50 amThat's all I want. Eleven Red Sox victories.
I want three against Anaheim and four again (preferably) Minnesota.
I want to see Curt Schilling beat Johann Santana.
I want four victories again (again, hopefully) the Astros, with both Schilling and Pedro beating Roger Clemens. Oh . . . beating Roger Clemens in Fenway to win the Series. The stuff dreams are made of.
I am not asking for 11 straight even though we won 10 straight earlier this year. I simply want 11 wins in 19 games. That doesn't seem so hard, does it?
While I am wishing for this, I cannot imagine what it would be like to actually have it happen.
It boggles the mind.
