Catching up
May. 15th, 2005 06:31 pmClearly, I have been lacking in my commitment to updating my LJ.
The last post, a week ago, was a test of a photo site I have yet to use.
The one before that was the words to "We Are The Beaver."
Life continues to be busy, as we rush toward the end of the school year.
evilnicola is clearly a short-timer at this point, but she's got a bucket-load of activities coming up.
Progress reports are due this week, so that means we are 7/8s of the way through the school year. I have things pretty well planned out the rest of the way.
I just don't have time for reading. I finished one submarine technothriller ("Thunder in the Deep," by Joe Buff," but I am still halfway through about a half-dozen paperbacks.
Had some folks over to visit this weekend, and that rocked. I didn't get out much, but that's OK.
evilnicola made a fabulous barbecued ribs dinner with salt potatoes, corn, biscuits and tomato and mozzarella salad, I made breakfast today, using the left-over tomato and mozzarella for a big omelet. I made a couple others, too.
I am very excited that Darius and Roxane will be the prince and princess of the East at Pennsic, and that Martino and Ariel -- both knights -- will be there for Calontir. Making it even better is the fact that
wyz_azz and Master Robin will be the prince and princess of Aethelmearc.
I know it's still a long way away, but I am very excited for Pennsic on some many levels.
faheud has me all jazzed about the music coming out of Casa Barducci, especially for the songs from
purplebard.
I have been working on school stuff for about two-and-a-half hours -- taking breaks like this -- and I am gonna finish it now (or at least do some more.)
Write to me, my friends. I miss you.
