Settling in and catching up . . .

Yes, I am settled in -- for some values of settled in.

In my room, I am still surrounded by more than a dozen boxes, and today's task -- after school -- is to get the foyer cleaned out of yet more boxes. (To that end, if anyone can come over sometime after 5 p.m. today or tomorow, that would rock).

But I am sleeping well, and the commute northward has been fine the last two days. Of course, there are only five days left anyway. I have been doing stuff in Peabody after school, doctor;s appointments and cleaning the house, so I keep getting involved in heavy traffic on the way home.

I suddenly realized this morning, that I can hear birds chirping instead of the traffic on Route 128. New concept.

Two exams done, no more full school days, and an exam a day this week. Half days Monday and Tuesday, and it's over. The big thing is getting the grades done by Friday. That will make me feel a lot better.

The weekend's pretty open. Anyone have any ideas?

I am also debating on next weekend. Do I go to Glen Linn for an SCA event? Do I low-key it, do some Boston-area stuff and go to a great picnic on Saturday. Again, ideas welcome.
