NaNoWriMo: Day One

I got a late start tonight. With two doctor's appopintments (all is well), and a stop for coffee and a vegetarian sandwich for dinner, I didn't get in until after 7 and was on the phone for a while.

But once I started, at about 8:20, all the thinking I had done started to guide me, and even though I went in a few different directions that I expected, I just went back and added a little more, and I am at 2,733 words.

That's as good a start as I could have expected.

We'll see what happens tomorrow.
