Thursday update -- A good doctor's visit . . .

I had a checkup with my allergist today. It was long-planned, but the fact that I brought a cold or more home from the Midlands (was it from kissing troll_boy at midnight?) made me happy I was seeing a doc.

Several really cool things happened:

1. I tipped the scales at 258 -- that a 30-pound loss since about September.

2. My blood pressure was 128/82. Now, it's never been *quite* twice that, but it's nice to know the meds work.

3. He gave me the wonder of wonders, a Z-pack, the take-two-pills-today and one each for the next three days and be better medicine. (Pfizer's greatest success before Viagra).

Barely made it through school Tuesday and stayed home sick yesterday. Today went OK and was special because I got to have lunch with evilnicola, who was there telling her former classmates about college.

I cannot believe Arisia is next weekend. I have almost no idea on anything other than shadesong's panel Friday night and the possibility of Finale afterwards.
