Just sayin' is all . . .

From the journal of a friend of a friend: I need a picture of a grizzly bear wearing a t-shirt that says "If God hadn't meant us to eat campers, they wouldn't be made out of tasty meat."

The latest verbing of a noun (noun-phrase) comes from a sportscaster talking about a coach knowing his x’s and o’s. "Now he’s got to x-and-o them himself."

This is one of the most disturbing sites I have ever seen -- and it's all in yarn. You are warned. Fricking cool . . .

Most of you know I am a big sports guy, but I just cannot bring myself to care about the Super Bowl.

But it's just over two weeks to pitchers and catchers!

Since I know it's gonna get to me . . .

Five guilty pleasures . . .

1. Boiling the heck out of chourico (Portuguese sausage) with potatoes, draining most of the water off and mashing with butter. Eating it with buttered sweetbread.

2. Singing. Loudly. And often.

3. Craft beer. (But I gotta take a break from that).

A dear friend asked me about my life’s philosophytonight.
