Sunday randomness

1. *Sigh* I suppose weekends have to end so you can get back to work on Monday and head toward another weekend.

2. My friend rhodri2112 made me remember that this would be a great week to rent one of the all-time best Irish movies, Boondock Saints (And, yes, I will admit that theresat turned me on to this movie). It's Canadian title was "Mission des dieux." I also have a soft place in my heart for John Wayne in The Quiet Man.

3. I still have a Dropkicks ticket for Sunday for $35. I am waiting to hear, but I might still have two for Saturday night. evilnicola lucked out, and I am gonna take her to the Pogues. Still looking for a "date" for Melissa Ferrick, April 7.

4. The Maple Caramels are gone. Where did all the Maple Caramels go?

5. It's very frustrating when your favorite restaurant/bar -- The Publick House -- is so crowded you almost never go to dinner there any more. "Nobody goes there any more," Yogi Berra said. "It's too crowded."
