Just another day . . .
Jun. 6th, 2006 05:01 pm1. Opener: Time's getting short. Each day is a chellenge, but each day is a step closer to summer.
2. Mini-rant: Some people just don't "get it." This actually doesn't affect me because I get direct deposit. But because the last day for teachers is a Monday, and the paychecks don't go out until Thurdsay (Wednesday for direct deposit), if Peabody teachers want their final check (or their individual summer checks) mailed, they have to provide a first-class stamp for each paycheck. Don't they understand just how insulting this is? We're talking about such a small amount of money . . .
3. Geek note: OK, "The Very Long Night of Londo Mollari," and G'Kar is talking to London, but he's sounding a lot like Harvey talking to Crichton.
4. Teacher note: From yesterday: "No, you cannot have a "pass" on homework tonight because the world `might' end tomorrow.
