Commonwealth Shakespeare does free shows on the Boston Common, and this year's presentation is "Taming of the Shrew."

Getting a common date (hehe, I made a pun) is like herding kittens (Hehe, "Kat").

How does Sunday, July 30 sound?

Play goes up at 7 p.m., so I would say we'd get there about 5:30 p.m. and picnic!

To quote Bluto in "Animal House:" "Who's with meeeeee?"

BREAKING NEWS: Enron Corp. founder Ken Lay has died. Reuters is reporting that Lay, who was recently convicted of fraud and conspiracy in the failed company's collapse, died of a heart attack.

Kinda strange, methinks.

Assuming you live in Massachusetts, do you:

1. Write to your state senator and state representative and ask them to kill the Gay Marriage Amendment in any possible way, including usinbg procedural methods or anything else at hand?

Or:

2. Simply ask them that if/when it comes up for a vote, that they vote against it?

I am looking at this as a ethical question.

A number of friends have expressed an interest in going to a minor league baseball game.

How does this sound:

Pawtucket Red Sox vs. Buffalo Bison at 6:05 p.m., Saturday, July 29?

Portalnd is on eht road in the time frame I am looking at.

I know that date is a conflict for some.

Another possibility: 1 p.m., Sunday, August 27. Rochester at Pawtucket.
