Random thoughts and observations . . .
Sep. 20th, 2006 09:47 pm1. What do you call the river that runs through Boston -- the Thames or the Tems? (Answer below).
2. Another good teaching day. The sixth-period kids said the class went by really quickly.
3. I think I am going to stop talking about "light" combat archers. ;)
4. Did you know that Marlon Brando played Nathan Detroit in "Guys and Dolls?" (I almost said Nathan Lane).
5. More information on Tea With Weapons at our house on Sunday.
Youth fighting stuff will start at 2 p.m. with a gorget-making workshop, followed by fighting at 3 p.m. The heavy fighting portion of the day starts with Sir Thorson's class at 4 p.m., followed, I assume by fighting.

If you just want to come hang out and watch and drink tea and eat, that's cool too. I can probably pick up folks at Alewife if needed.
