It must be a vacation. I have tons to do, but I am doing it in a relaxed manner.
It's been great so far -- Boskone Saturday, Vikings Invade The House yesterday, and today has been wonderfully low key.
1. I did get my new CPAP machine. The folks wanted to set up and appointment, but I pointed out I really needed the new machine and mask. Turns out, they are in Waltham, so I went over and in 15 minutes, I was all set. The technician was ecstatic he didn't have to explain everything. For the CPAP geeks: It's a REMStarPLUS M series from Respironics. It has a heated humidifer attachemment. I got my favorite mask, too. For the non-CPAP geeks: I have sleep apnea. The machine allows me to get real sleep. I cannot wait to see how it works tonight.
2. Linky goodness.
a. The word of the day is
Scrotum!
b. From the new Israeli Baseball League: Baseball is Biblical
c. I wonder if maybe the President Talks Too Much?
3. Tomorrow,
ladyalethea and I may well be going to the Aquarium. We would likely go early to try and beat the crowds. Anyone interested?
4. After our Valentine's Day massages and hot-tubbing, we will leave for Maine and will be in Cumberland at her folks' for the rest of the week. I was considering dinner at The Great Lost Bear sometime between 5 and 7 p.m. We can be flexible for folks who have to work.
anastasiav, I hope you will be feeling well by then.
Have a great day!
