OK, I have freshly made coffee from Maine Coffee Roasters and the feed of "Midnight Special" from WUMB emanating from the speakers. My roommate made pancakes this morning. Yay! That's two days in a row because [livejournal.com profile] alethea_eastrid's dad made 'em yesterday.

It is the "last day of vacation," but I have had a terrific week -- albeit a quick one -- so I am going to be sitting here much fo the day doing school stuff, etc.

1. Had a great week that included Boskone, Viking Day, a lazy Monday, massages, hot tub and a trip to Maine Tuesday, A lazy Wednesday, Freeport, most of the yarn shops in Maine and The Great Lost Bear, etc., on Thursday, a visit to Portland on Friday and the trip home -- with a stop in Portsmouth, N.H., yesterday.

2. This week includes beginning the fund-raising for our trip to South Carolina for Habitat For Humanity in April, National Honor Society selection, progress reports, Parents' Night on Thursday and Intercon this weekend.

3. From [livejournal.com profile] b0st0n:

OP: so how many b0st0ni0ns, play WoW?

. . . . .

Liam: You will never get an accurate answer here because they are all playing right now in their mother's basements.

New poster: hmm, I play a troll in WoW, but I think you've got me beat.

Liam: Thank you. PS: I play a dwarf.

I will be here all day. Shoot me an IM or a note if you get a chance.

Not a bad day for my Friends' List:

[livejournal.com profile] bytchearse gets a well-deserved elevation in the East.

Meanwhile, in the Midrealm, [livejournal.com profile] campagnella got her writ.

Jaji has been a dear, dear friend for years and, to me exemplifies why Clan O'Choada is one of the models for "How to run a household."

Baroness Alexandra, on the other hand, I have met but once. However, she made quite an impression on me. She definitely pinged my peer-dar.

She was "fortunate enough" to be the Midrealm representative at the MoL table at Rapier Champions at this past Pennsic.
She got to see "Prick Liam" in action:

"No, I am sorry. I need my kingdom marshal to tell me that's permissible."
"No, I am sorry. I need my kingdom marshal to tell me that's permissible."

Since she hasn't gone on vigil yet, I gave her the Eastern advice. "Don't be numb and take the belt."

Oh, and, hun, "Always apologize louder than you fart."

I am a happy dude.

Meme me!

Ganked from [livejournal.com profile] zombiedog, who saw it first from [livejournal.com profile] gotspit, who ninja-looted it from [livejournal.com profile] cyclopetus.

4. I'll tell you something I like about you.

5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
