A few thoughts on a Sunday evening . . .
Apr. 22nd, 2007 07:27 pm1. Gorgeous day! Got out and about for a bit, but mostly I have been working on job, wedding and school stuff on the computer, along with catching up on EK List. I will continue to be working on the computer these evening, so give me a holler if you would like.
2. OK, a quote from "Bull Durham" seems appropriate (doesn't it always?). "Act classy. Be classy." A friend borrowed my truck last weekend. I know there was roughly a half-tank of gas when he took it. It's full now. Classy. I got a lot of offers to help with transportation to the train station. One friend did both trips -- to and from -- and he's got to drive 25 minutes or so to get to Boston. Classy.
3. Last night was great! I have sleep anea, and even with the machine I usually wake up after four to six hours of sleep. As far as I can tell, what with being so worn out from the trip and so relaxed that I was home, I think I slept a full eight hours. Absolutely amazing.
4. Oh, and all of a sudden it's three weeks without a beer.
5. So I am sorta watching "Gods and Generals," as I am working It's the prequel to "Gettysburg." Early on, Stonewall Jackson is inspecting a training ground and he comes up to an artillery unit, and the officer tells him the men have just named the cannon "Matthew, Luke, Mark and John," and Jackson replies that he's sure they will "spread the Gospel/"
