Cleaning up before bed . . .

1. Great weekend. Had a visit from jenphalian, who spent Saturday with us at Midsummer's Faire, an SCA event in New Hampshire. Saw lots and lots of LJ folks. Ya'all know who you are. Had a wonderful dinner. Got to catch up with our old friend Master Ernst. It was cool. Got to spend some time with freya46.

2. The Red Sox magic number for eliminating the Yankees is 92. Just saying is all.

3. I somehow got directed there from sca but goth_macros is not only totally not safe for work, it is an absolute train wreck. Seriously (or is that SRSLY?), unless you are really twisted, so *not* go there. In the first 80 posts (yeah, a train wreck), there were at least three reklating to ren faires and the SCA.

4. This is the final push. Classes tomorrow, exams Tuesday through Friday, get everything done by next Sunday, see the kids for 10-15 minutes per class Monday, and clean out the room and check out Tuesday. Gonna be a rough week, but it will all be good.

Chocolate and Dessert Party -- July 7

As some of you know, Allison and I are celebrating our wedding on Saturday, July 7.

Looking for any good excuse to extend the celebration and to eat chocolate and mingle with friends, we are inviting all ya'all to a Chocolate and Dessert Party, beginning at 6:30 p.m., that evening. We'll probably break up by 10 p.m., because we'll be pretty tired

There will be children present, at least early on, so feel free to bring yours. There is a dog (named Fenway).

Please bring your favorite dessert, chocolate or not.

The party will be at our house in Waltham. It is easy to find, and when you RSVP, please let me know if you need directions.

We will not have crash space here, but it can likely be arranged.

That's it!

Exams start tomorrow.

Good thing the exam is not hard.

But they are still gonna get decked.

Kids these days, they just don't study.

My brain is absolutely mush. I have things I should do. I need to finish my lesson plans, write some letters, do some resumes, figure grades, etc., etc., etc. I just cannot get started. I got some stuff done, but not enough. Not nearly enough.
