No good can come of this . . .

So, I didn't get around to starting until after 7 p.m., and I finished the first day's quota about 15 minutes late, but I do have more than 1,700 words of my National Novel Writing Month entry finished.

I decided that I could always give it up if I needed to, and to be honest, the next two days are going to be busy, but I wanted to give it a shot.
