1. I have not been outside yet, but it looks as though we got it pretty good overnight, and it might still be going a little right now. The road is clear. That's the nice thing about living on a "major" (as upstate New York roads go) north-south route, and if I want, I can hit a good east-west route toward work. There's a prison about 20 miles north of here, and there's a sheriff's substation about a mile south. So the road is well-maintained. I will shortly clear off the car and the truck and head out.
2. I am blown away that my friends' list needed fewer than 12 hours to get through all the quotes. Although "One of Liam's Favorite Movies" kind of narrows the field. There will be no "Amelie" quotes in there. I think I am going to do SCA songs next.
3. Here's a Red Sox spring-training story about a Boston/Harvard kid living the dream.
4. I promised restaurant recommendations for Northern Lights. There is a German restaurant in the Radisson that just changed its name and comes highly recommended from Master Ernst. [I cannot remember the new name]. The Silo is highly recommended by
lumineaux, and believe it or not, I recommended Davidson's Brothers Brewing downtown. There is an excellent Thai and suhi place on the same block as Davidson's.
5. OK, out into the snow.
