Sunday morning: Up and at 'em

1.The first order of business is to welcome patchwerkgirl to his little meadow of insanity.

2. No fancy breakfast report this morning. Just Irish Oatmeal and coffee/tea.

3. So I am reading the Salt Lake City Tribune, trying to stay on top of the FLDS polygamous stuff happening in Texas, and I come on this gem:

I kid you not.

4. I do cherish my friends' list.

5. He's probably gonna give me a hard time for posting this, but stevefava was the runnerup in the Principality of the Mists coronet tournament yesterday, and npw has the Torse of Honor to go witrh his Wreath of Chivalry from Crown.

Sunday evening: A nice day . . .

1. It was a great nice day for a ride, two thirds of it with jenphalian. We met up with trilobites and annodomini for lunch at Long Trail Brewing. The lovely alethea_eastrid bowed out because of "sewing for Coronation," which after next week will be "sewing for Crown." I had a keilbasa sandwich, Jen had a burger and the other two had "hippie burgers" -- veggie burgers. The Belgian White was appreciated, so was the Imperial Stout, which won't be up much longer I am told.

2. You know I love fireroseboudic's Yankees' blog, and this  post is lyrical and thought-provoking.

3. All I can say is that things better be better (yes, I said that) at Fenway).

4. For my  sheepy friends. From  the New York Times.

5. Alethea is watching "Hogfather," and I keep hearing snatches of rather strange audio.

6. Not only did my freidn stevefava makes the finals in the Coronet Tournament in the Principality of the Mists and get a chivalry award -- his second in recent tournaments -- rani23 fought in it as well, for Sir Brion of Bellatrix. Way to go!
