Sunday morning: Just another day in the North Country

1. Interesting week coming up. Tuesday off, but big community meeting in Lake George Thursday night. After a couple of weeks away from events, we'll be off to Bjorn's Ceilidh next Saturday, and 100 Minutes War the following week.

2. One of the things some of the youth in Lake George want is a skateboard park. So I was pretty tickled when a colleague pointed out this New York Times story about skateboarding as a gym class in New York City. The kids we are working with want that, too.

3. I am in search of a template for Microsoft Publisher 2003. I am looking for newspaper-style (as opposed to newsletter style) templates. Butwhta I am most looking for is a template for a booklet, like the Pikestaff or Creative Anachronist. Landscape-style pages folded in half.

4. I know that for some people it's as if I was drinking Corona with a lime, but even though I am a coffee geek, I love flavored coffees. Yes, I love me my Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, Tanzanian Peaberry and Kona, but this morning a couple of mugs of Green Mountain's Wild Mountain Blueberry was just perfect.

5. I love my friends' list! Thank you, fieryredhead!

6. I love it when I accidentally click on StumbleUpon and wind up with things like The Table of Condiments That Periodically Go Bad.
