1. Big day in the Liamverse. A happy welcome to [livejournal.com profile] fallenlibrarian, [livejournal.com profile] arathreel, [livejournal.com profile] jennythe_reader and [livejournal.com profile] skye_ds. Say hello to all the nice folks. You all have friends here.

2. How geeky is this? So we decide a snort of Scotch is in order. I have to choose between Aberlour and Tam Du. Or, between the Scotch that [livejournal.com profile] xgreenjudasx gave us or the one that I still owe [livejournal.com profile] derschmeid for. Sorry, dude, but I went with the Scotch from the pretty lady. It's the Aberlour with the chocolate-y notes.

3. We had made arrangements to stay someone this Friday for 100 Minutes War. I already talked to one person who said we could stay with him, but it seems to me there was someone else.

4. I had an epiphany this morning thanks to a link from [livejournal.com profile] classics_cat. Who the fuck are the Mormons to protest against an alternative form of marriage?

5. I had another lightbulb moment. Perhaps the main reason that the movie "Milk" is not showing around here  is because it's nationwide release is Wednesday!!!!!

6. I am through nine episodes of "West Wing," and I love Charlie.

Frat Boy #3: You know, I ain't done with you, Sammy.
Charlie: My name is Charlie Young, jackass, and if that bulge in your pocket's an eight-ball of blow, you're spending spring break in a federal prison.

7. And here, Marion is showing the proper neutral expression while the queen glows.

1. If you see me post a lot at night, you can probably assume that means I had a meeting during the day and was able to make a lot of notes on things to post.

2. I am gonna flip tomorrow, I just know it. LJ is shutting down to herd the servers to Montana. I dread this. It's a computer thing. It will not happen as scheduled and people will whine. I bet people have already printed up, "I survived the great LJ Outage of 2008" t-shirts. Bah.

3. What movie, that opens before Jan. 1, 2009, are you jonesing for the most?

4. Did you ever meet someone and feel an immediate, electric connection? Happened to me Saturday.

5. Speaking of the Mormons (last post), I highly recommend Jon Krakauer's "Under The Banner of Heaven." I enjoyed the audiobook. I know I have said this before.

6. From the "People Need Lives" Department: The first Level 80 player in World of War Craft.

7. Did you eat feast at Bjorn's Ceilidh?

Here's your cook:
