2. I was at the Polar Plunge site today. (I go to Lake George for a meeting with students every Tuesday). The lake is not frozen, but there was snow on the beach.

3. I am really trying to get into the Christmas/holiday feeling this year. I am thinking good thoughts, being thankful and listening to Christmas music!

4. I am very, very thankful for  Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich. He got NPR off "The Economy Sucks" bandwagon for at least a little while, untl they went back to the Las Vegas Housing Cris series. I wonder how much New York Gov. David Paterson will charge of Hillary's seat? I bet either Andrew Cuomo or Caroline Kennedy could pay it.

5. Mr. Calontir Trim -- trimguy, and the lovely Mrs. Calontir Trim -- snailstchr -- will be at Market Day at Birka. Yee-ha.

6.  Any day the Mets sign someone (Can you say, "Francisco Rodriguez?") is a good day.
