Monday night: We can haz history
Jan. 20th, 2009 07:40 pm1. I watched and listened, and my first reaction was:
"OK, what's next?"
2. Very productive day at work. The kids in Lake George are really pumped up. They are doing good things.
3. The local paper does an annual set of "Student Achievement Awards." Three kids from out initiative were named to the list, including the kid I nominated. Yee-ha!
4. I just drank one of the most average, non-discript beers I have ever had: Eugene City Brewey's "Ytack Town: Honey Wheat Ale." a Rogue product.
5. Roll call for King's & Queen's Bardic? Anyone competing?
6. I am listening to a book I have read before. If you like well-written police procedural/mysteries, I highly recommend P.T. Deutermann's "Cat Dancers." Great stuff.
7. Just because it's one of the greatest lines in movie history:
"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses."
