Sunday afternoon: Sunny and 39 degrees

2. There is some thawing going on in the North Country. Yesterday morning, early on, it was 4 degrees, and it got into the 40s for a good part of the day. Today, the sun even came out.
3. That meant a great day for the Chilly Willy event my kids were involved in today. Playing in the snow at the southern end of Lake Georg. It was terrific.
4. An NSFW picture and book review from, of all places, The New York Times.
5. My mom sent us home with a waffle iron, so I am currently experimenting with that.
6. Still not feeling all that hot.
