Friday night: Praise for the weekend!!!

2. Surprisingly intense morning at work. But I made it and went to Saratoga Springs for a little relaxation. Found a bunch of good $3 country CDs at the used CD store. (Yes, such a thing exists).

3. Some day, I am gonna write the "100 Things About Me" meme.

I interviewed Tom Clancy on AOL Chat in the early or mid-1990s about his latest book. I was working for the paper in new London, and he came there for his first signing on every book for a very long, long time, because a local bookshop was the only one to have him come and sign his first novel -- "The Hunt for Red October," because we were in a Navy town. It was wicked cool.

4. It's a relaxing Friday night at home, listening to country music and playing on the Interwebz.

5. I really enjoyed "The Hedge Knight," a graphic novel based on a story by George R.R. Martin.
