1. OK, when the forecast is for 70-degree whether, you should not have to scrape your sindshield in the morning. (Granted, I was parked in shadow). Also, not gonna make 70 today anyway. Tomorrow is supposed to be much warmer.

2. The second phone interview with Troy Prep has been postponed to next Tuesday. I have to ask myself, did he really have a meeting opo up or is it a sunny Friday afternoon in the high 60s, maybe 70s where he is. I know what I would have done.

3. If I stilled lived in the Boston area, I would so be planning on "Star Trek" with my friends like we did for "Serenity."

4. The first three games between the Yankees and the Red Sox are this weekend in Fenway Park. Oh, for a sweep. Oh, *that's* why my work colleague said this morning, "I hope we win 10 straight."

5. I hate leaving my phone at home. I realized it on the way in, but it was too late to go back. I can call the number to get messages, which is good, but the only two phone numbers I know are [livejournal.com profile] artisticphoenix  and [livejournal.com profile] evilnicola , because they are both very much like my number. If I want to call [profile] alethea_eastrid , I would have to send someone an em-mail or call evilnicola. Bah!

6. Speaking of my lovely wife. We actually get to spend some quality weekend time together -- nto at an event -- starting around noon tomorrow.

7. Oh, yeah. So I went to the organizational meeting for the Town of Salem Youth Commission, and my name will be submitted tot he Town Board for approval as one fo the original members.

We had to go around the table introducing ourselves, largely for my benefit.

Before the end of the meeting, this exchange occurred.

Person One: "Wow, Bill, you know a little of people considering you have only been here five years."

Person Two: "He's only been here a year-and-a half."

Person One: "Wow, you *do* know a lot of people."

1. Yep, it got there. Headed toward 82 tomorrow.

2. Solved my "cat" infestation by buying gooshy food..

3. I was going to make Jaji's Guinness Beef and Cheese Stew, but the oven went on the Otto (I mean the Fritz), so I cannot roast the meat. I may pot-roast it (verbing nouns).

4. If you are on the Silver Crescent List, please to be appreciating the number of times I have used the idea of "Send Later is your friend."

5. If you are a cat owner, and you are not reading Two Lumps, your life is not complete. (I am Snooch!)

6. Kudos to Hannaford for carrying really good beer (tm). [I had to pick up a prescription for my wife.]

7. As an aside to the SCA_Snark Banhammer Incident, I must say that while one person gave me some shit (as expected), then said it was cool, the three others -- all women -- were amazingly classy and cool.

I have a lot of music on my computer.

But I still keep a YouTube playlist.

I re-ordered it tonight, and here's how it starts:

1. "Ten Rounds With Jose Cuervo,, by Tracy Byrd.

2. "Keg In The Closet" by Kenny Chesney.

3. "Drinkin' Bone," by Tracy Byrd.

4. "All My Friends Say," by Luke Bryan,

5. "The World Needs a Drink," by Terri Clark.

6. "Hurts So Good," by Kenny Chesney and Gretchen Wilson.
