OK, back to your regularly scheduled blogging.
1. I noticed a particular rural smell the other day -- manure and pollen. Strange smell. Add to that smoke, because everyone here in the North Country takes advantage of their God-given right to burn their rubbish. Cool sound, too. When a pair of geese flies low enough, you can hear the wingbeats, which sound just like a pair of courdoroy-clad thighs rubbing together.
2. Look out Vermont! I am about to send out resume packets to schools in East Corinth, Newport, South Burlington and South Royalton. Isn't Newport the one where the library is partly in Quebec?
3. I cannot laugh about Manny. How would we be reacting if he was still in left-field for us? Heck, I didn't laugh at A-Rod, either. It
4. Anyone else discover a particular favroite food or beverage in a book. I just finished a hrge mug of Lapsang Souchong tea, which I did not know existed until I read James Michener's "Centennial."
5. Let me ask all the sweet daughters out there: Would you ever put your loving daddy on hold? I thought not. I never put you on hold. (To which she pointed out I don't know how to put people on hold.)
6. Funny, Niki was talking about graduating from high school, etc., and I am listening to "Cleaning This Gun."
7. Reminder: You can vote daily for my former student Anya Genetalya to be in RuPaul's Drag Race 2.
