Marking minors who participate with adults in martial activities
Any minor participating in martial activities (fighting / fencing / combat archery / siege / etc...) with adults will have their Kingdom's specific minor helm marking, or an event specified marking that will identify them as a minor participant on the front half of their helmet / mask. The marking is up to the Kingdom of residence or the Kingdom hosting the event and event staff shall be made aware of it. In addition to this all minors will have "minor" marked on their authorization card large enough that a list person can easily see it.

Here is my letter to the Board:
I read in someone's LiveJournal (don't you love LiveJournal?), that there is a proposal to somehow specifically identify 16 and 17-year-old fencers and fighters when they are fighting with adults.
This seems to me to be a lawyer/liability issue rather than having any real value to the fighters.
If this has anything to do with a story people are telling about a teen-ager getting hurt fighting in with adults in a kingdom where that is not allowed, it seems that's where the response should be directed.
It seems strange to discriminate against young fighters. It would be akin to tagging female fighting in some way.

The intimation is that if you see a "kid sticker" you may choose to not engage or pull your shot.
That's not how we play this game.
If someone is not safe to be on the field, they should not be on the field.
It makes me wonder if there was any discussion of marking female fighters in the early days.
Additional info/change of direction
There was an incident in which a minor was fighting in a heavy battle in a kingdom that does not allow minors to fight -- my understand is that it was an interkingdom war. The youth was injured, and the chirurgeon went right to work, assuming the fighter was not a minor, because, well, to fight in that kingdom you needed to be 18. It was at that point that people realized for the first time that the young fighter was not 18.
A chirurgeon needs parental permission to treat a minor.

Mary, are The Boys going to be playing when you are up there?
3. I was on the phone for about an hour with the publisher of the weekly newspaper where I am applying for the editor's job. He wants me to come meet everyone and visit the town next week. I think there are several good things going for me, including my photography, my teaching background and the fact that I drove out there on my own to check the place out. It's in Woodstock, Vt.
Would that put us in a specific local group?
4. That is not, by the way, the position I was referring to as "The Job I Am Going To Get." That's a local teaching job. Who knows?
5. The truck, apparently, has "a weak spark," and Frank's ordered a new coil wire. Problem is, it starts sometimes, but not all the time. These means when Alethea gets home, I drive down there in her car, get the laundry and go do it. Ah, well.
6. I really wish I cared about golf. The U.S. Open was fascinating this year, but it's golf. Same for Wimbledon, I am afraid.
7. The weather has been really strange all day. The wind is blowing the undersides of the leaves up, making like it's going to storm, but nothing.
