1. No updates lately because life has been insanely busy. I will catch up at some point.

5. My wife gave me a bowl of fresh peas and spinach sauteed in olive and Asian spice oil topped with salmon chunks and ravioli. Gone now.

6. You can tell we went to the Troy Farmers' Market Saturday. Yesterday, I sauteed onions, shallots, garlic and fresh potatoes and added the Italian-style Elk sausage. Great stuff.

1. While it possibly supposed to rain Thursday night, right now the forecast for the rest of the weekend is sunny and low 70s. Yee-ha.

3. I have already posted about the Silent Auction for the Royal/Pennsic Fund.

It will be under the A&S Pavilion. We will start bidding at 10 a.m., accepy donations until noon and wrap up bidding at 3:30 p.m.

4. That will get you out of there in time to go to the live auction Lady Frigga is holding fot the Third Division of the Northern Army (Food for Fighters).

That will be at 4 p.m. near the battlefield, where the pork loins are being roasted.

Items in this auction include
*Five separate baskets auctioned individually: large fabric remnants as well as 'belly dancer' embellishments
*Thrull/s (whatever they may be)
*specialty non-alcoholic soda
*homemade soap
*an hour of Asgar's labor during NRWC and/or Pennsic
*homemade chocolate peanut butter fudge
*painting
*copper wire woven necklace
*more!

5. Speaking of the pork loins, we could use one or two more people to work from 2:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. to cook them. Yes, you get dibs.

6. Speaking of the auction, there is one bid on the beer tasting.

The bidding is currently at 25 "quatloos."

7. If you are on the fence, please come to Northern Region. It's a hoot. Bring your bathing suit!

Also, we can usually see some of the Lake George Fireworks.
