I spent the last two days training at the state Department of Labor in Albany. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] dulcinbradbury and [gill in Joel's LJ name here] for letting me stay at their place.

Had a quick dinner at Wolff's with [livejournal.com profile] gwenlianna and[livejournal.com profile] hotspurre.

Home now, because Frank The Mechanic is going to look at the brakes on the truck.

I am going to take a nap.

I have not read any LJ since yesterday morning, and while I zipped through some of my mail last night, I didn't really process any of it.

I will get to it later. Right now I really need a nap.

Drop me a line if you need anything.

If you are traveling, please travel safely.

1. A hearty Liamverse welcome goes out to:[livejournal.com profile] marikunin, [livejournal.com profile] dwarvennomelet, [livejournal.com profile] tarazed24 and [livejournal.com profile] kyleri.

2. Is there anyone else who subscribes/subscribed to both the East Kingdom mailing list and [livejournal.com profile] polyamory? Can you say "Listfail?" I was lucky enough to be away for most of it, so I cannot really take any credit for not getting involved in the EK List dramafest.

3. In a related comment, which I think I shall post to [livejournal.com profile] sca_snark:

If I post to an SCA list asking for information about oranges, what I am really hoping someone will give me is:

A. Information about apples.
B. Commentary on why people hate oranges and how they should use them and that apples are far better.
C. An inquiry as to whether or not I am on my medication.
D.  Detailed directions on the proper routes for 18-wheelers traveling from Boston to Albuquerque, N.M.
E. None of the above. I want to know about frelling oranges!

4. A Liamverse shoutout to Mark Buehrle for his perfect game. "C'mon. Perfect game."

5. OK, I love EA Sports games, but even I think "Lust for Booth Babes" is wrong,

6. A post I saw in a local group said that Curia approved:

Polling a barony at any time.

Two EKUs a year by law.

Groups can use sites in other groups. (I hate this idea).

An A&S award for youth , the Golden Kinder . (Fair idea. Bad name).

7. Here is the lovely [livejournal.com profile] zarhooie's AoA scroll which was an inter-kingdom conspracy. More photos at her LJ.

Words by ingusmoen, scroll by [livejournal.com profile] trilobites, conspiracy arranged by Baron William O'Donovan of Monmouth. ;)
