I love sports. I love movies. I love inspirational speeches.

So, in a little bit, I am going to post a poll asking you to choose your favorite inspirational sports speech from a list of seven.

These are all speeches I really like. I came up with these pretty quickly, and I didn't see a need to pad it out to 10.

I did leave out some well known ones, like "Rocky" and "Win One for the Gipper," and "No Crying in Baseball." Unfortunately, I cannot classify "Long. slow, deep, wet kisses that last three days," as sports motivation. ;)

Class lists for KWAR/KWCS

The class lists have been posted for the Known World Academy of the Rapier and Known World Costuming Symposium.

1. Who all is going?

2. Anyone want to discuss Interkingdom Anthropology regarding fencing here or in e-mail?

3. I am teaching IKA, my Teaching class and an MoL class. There may also be good beer later.

4. I would also like to get a chunk of Travel Fund fund-raising out of the way early. We will be doing an EK Royal Travel Fund auction at the event. I am looking for donations that we can put out as minimum $25 and $50 bids. Please help if you can.
