1. I left Salem just before 12:30 p.m. We're all done there! Yay and thanks to my friends who were able to help.
2. You need to see -- at least the beginning, of this video of the finals of Ealdormere Crown. Lord Quilliam, who is 19, is the first fighter from the youth program to win a crown. I think the Ealormereans are gonna have a hoot at Pennsic.
3. Back to work tomorrow! It's been a run of four-day weeks for me for moving and to get rid of my vacation days. (Vacation/personal day year starts anew today). Next week, with Veterans Say in the middle of the week, it's one more, then a five-day week (however shall I survive?) Then a three-day week for Thanksgiving.
4. Can anyone from Concordia tell me if there is fighting at Ceilidh? It does not say so on the event announcement, and there's no page up on the Concordian web site.
5. The good news is that the state representative in our new district is Teresa Sayward, who voted for same-sex marriage. Turns out I already know our city councilman, too.
6. I think I won the Series for the Yankees.
Top of the fourth, Saturday night, at a sports bar, and I ask if the game is a no-no.
The next pitch is a ball and put a runner on, breaking up a perfect game, and the next batter Alex Rondriguez hits a homer (after the replay).
