Busy can be good . . .
Dec. 10th, 2009 11:08 amI never posted last night, largely because yesterday was one of the worst four or five days in my 30+ as an employee of one place or another. It was awful in a variety of ways. I crawled into bed early and stayed there. The cats watched over me.
Of course, I really didn't want to come in today, but I got here and continued sick-week catch-up for an hour, then at 9 a.m. got the call that there were some folks here for scheduled Unemployment meetings.
Five meetings and 90 minutes later, I emerged. I have never done more than two in a row. I have been doing a little more catch-up, and grabbing a little downtime, and now I have to do the computer followup on those five meetings.
That'll take me to 12:30 p.m., and I am teaching our Choices class for welfare applicants and former prisoners this afternoon. That will get me beyond 3 p.m. and leave about 45 minutes for more catch-up.
The day will be over, and I can go home and do the half-dozen or so SCA things waiting for me.
