3. I am sick and not happy about it. Just as alethea_eastrid was coming off a week of serious ickiness, I wound up feeling spectacularly crappy Friday night through today, and I am still not there yet. Most in my sinuses and my lungs, Accomplished some stuff Saturday, but other than two hours of laundry, not much yesterday. Addendum, about four hours later. Naps and showers help a lot. Feeling better and working on the to-do list.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Polar Plunge lived up to its name this year. Despite temperatures in the 30s, snow flurries, biting winds and rough surf, 2,636 teeth-chattering souls donned costumes or stripped to their swimsuits and plunged into the Atlantic Ocean on Saturday.
The winter nor'easter that blew through the region Friday and Saturday provided the coldest, most extreme Polar Plunge in the event's 18 years, said Rick Jeffrey, president of Special Olympics Virginia. The organization raised $805,000, with donations still coming in, spokeswoman Holly Claytor said.
