I know I hate getting caught by those things, ever since the day my middle school kids set up the classroom in the parking lot. There will not be anything April Fool's-related here today, but I just saw an ad for something that was clearly a spoof. Well, clearly after a minute.
2. Well, I survived my birthday, thanks to a lot of help from my friends. Stuff happened, as stuff does, and I just hung close to the house, but I cannot fully thank those who inundated me with kind words and other help. I really mean it when I say that my friends make me who I am. I am blessed.
3. I get a lot of resume-writing and job-search articles these days, and the cats could not figure out why I was chuckling when I started reading Item No. 1 of "10 Sure-Fire Ways to Make Sure Your Resume Screams "I'm An Amateur."
1. Use Comic Sans or some other over-used, impractical font. Hiring managers especially love flowery script that’s hard to read!
