As many of you know, Lord Wilhelm Baumheck, husband to Mistress Ana de Guzman and squire to Sir Albrecht von Halstern passed away recently. His family has substantial bills and expenses that need to be met and I have volunteered to run a series of online auctions to help them in their time of need. All proceeds will go directly to the family and there are other items to follow.

Southern Adirondack Fiber Festival
If you have any interest at all in knitting, crocheting, weaving or any of the other fiber arts, you will want to be back at the Fairgrounds Sept. 25 and 26 for the second annual Southern Adirondack Fiber Fest.
This event will draw more than 90 regional vendors from New York and New England. Hours will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day
.
There will also be a wide variety of demonstrations and displays on both days. Demonstrations will include sheep shearing, weaving, spinning, Kool-Aid dyeing and rug hooking.
If you want to see where the fibers actually come from, a variety of sheep breeds, alpaca, llama, cashmere goats and angora rabbits will be exhibited by their owners. The Festival will have musical entertainment, Puddles the Clown doing face painting and balloons, and an assortment of food.
Admission is $5 for Adults, children under 14 are free. There is lots of free parking. For the safety reasons, we ask that you leave your pets at home.
