Monday evening: So far, a good week
Oct. 18th, 2010 09:43 pm1. I have gotten badly behind in welcoming people. (Partly because I have not been posting as much) (see No. 2).
Please welcome

2. I looked and saw that I had not gotten many LiveJournal comments lately, and I realized I had not posted in a while. Facebook is getting more and more use from me, and I think part of it is that I don't feel as though I have to post a "Liam-Style" list there.
3. An actual post from the National Novel Writing Months forums:
If I write a novel during the Medevil times, do I have to speak funnily? Like thy, thou, thine speak?
If this is in the wrong section sorry!
4. Yes, I am reading the NaNo forums (fora?). Yes, that means I am probably going to embrace the insanity. I got about halfway through once and maybe started one or two other times. Now I suppose I oughta figure out which novel I am going to write.
5. I know I sent both of these links out via facebook, and a lot of other folks have picked them up on LJ, too.
But I highly recommend reading John Scalzi and Dan Savage today. Really. Read them.
6. I had a health issue Sunday morning -- very early Sunday morning -- and while I am feeling better, it's now time for a round of "Three doctors' visits in two days."
7. So Saturday, I covered a 47-0 football game. Thanks to the vagaries of the New York state high school football playoff system, the two teams are playing again -- in the same place -- this coming Saturday.
Please welcome
