A friend is doing a wall-hanging with the individual arms of the kings and queens of the East.

http://wirenstring.no-ip.info/as/wallhanging

She is looking for the following folks to make personal contact to confirm the way they want the arms. We're looking for contact info or for someone to contact them and shoot me a note.

I think the most important point to keep in mind is this: As the Earl Marshal, I currently have the last word on the timeline and final implementation of these substantial changes to our law and policies.

I am committed to a "Go-Slow" policy at this time.

We all can take a deep breath, get together, review what we currently have that works, what will be in conflict with the new law and and where the solid ground of safety and maximum access to our Marshal sports lies.

We have here in the East a program of youth-based marshal training that has been praised at the Society level. We have dedicated, trained, youth-oriented marshals that I will not risk losing because they are confused or fearful of what these new changes may expose them to. I personally have questions that I need answers to, and I don’t think I even "know everything I don’t know" to ask yet.

As of this date, 6/2/11, I am requesting that NO change in our current methods of training, waivering, or authorizing Minors in the East be implemented. I serve at the pleasure of Their Majesties, and I await confirmation of Their comfort with this plan. I would conservatively think that this could take until the fall, certainly after Pennsic, before we are ready to move foreword with a full implementation of this change.

Sir Stephen Grandchamp, Earl Marshal of the East.
