1. I just came to the realization that it has been six months since a greeted anyone, which leaves a rather long list.

Please welcome the following folks to The Liamverse.

2. Yes, it’s been a long time. Based on responses, though, I think there are enough folks still just reading me here that I oughta keeping posting.

3. I am also on facebook and Google+ as Bill Toscano, if you would like. I do have G+ invitations.

4. I have gotten an SCA blog going at http://liamstliam.blogspot.com/ . I am always interested in feedback.

5. As part of that project, I am going through all my LJ posts and pulling out the SCA-related stuff for future reference. I am back to December 2008 or so. Fascinating stuff, and I love my friends.

6. Does anyone have any requests for topics you want me to write about?

7. Obligatory picture from the "Beautful Women at Pennsic" files.

So it seems as though catching up might be in order.

1. Since March, I have been the managing editor at Manchester Newspapers, a group of weekly newspapers on the New York-Vermont border. We just put out  two excellent editions on the flooding up there.

2. Still involved in the SCA. No events since Pennsic, but I thought about some. Running gate at Metalsmith’s/King’s & Queen’s Champions of Arms near Saratoga Springs, NY Columbus Day weekend.

3. Reading a lot. This usual technothrillers, then the new Jim Butcher when I get my hands on it. Listening to the ESPN oral history on my way to and from work.

4. Health is fairly good. Working on cutting a little weight.

5. Much more active on facebook and Google+ and my SCA blog (http://liamstliam.blogspot.com/ ). Things are still sorting themselves out there.

6. The rest of the fall includes at least one SCA demo, the annual Polar Plunge for Special Olympics, Ben Deschamps and Heather Dale visiting for concerts around Thanksgiving and probably some travel at Christmas. I do need to get to my daughter Tola’s new house.

7. And the prince of Ealdormere says, "And Rule No. 2 is that no, Master Liam is in fact *not* harmless, no matter what he says."

As we always do, Team Agni Dentati will be diving into Lake George Nov. 19 to raise money for Special Olympics New York.

You can be part of the extravaganza and on one of the most successful teams in the event.

Please go sign up. Usually, we get free hotel rooms the night before.

We can also use support folks and there are  almost always shenanigans afterwards.
