Friday morning: The beginning of the weekend . . . .

1. It's another gorgeous blue-sky day here in the North Country. A good bit cooler than it has been. Today, I get to wrap up the the report, then go deliver some documents to various schools and other places. I will then drive to Albany to puck up evilnicola and we will begin a "Weekend of Much Fun." The over-under for the first argument is 9 p.m .

2. Today's the Day Of Silence, and my letter didn't run in The Day yesterday or today.

That's OK, though, because they ran three others, all saying pretty much the same thing I was.

And I enjoyed writing it and the discussion here and over at the teacher message boards.

3. Very satisfying day yesterday. The 27-page quarterly report is maybe two or three pages from done. I am really buoyed by the response to my "Day of Slience" column in my LJ.

4. I must plead much amusement to the fact that brenwenthefaire put up a post titled "Post-a-la-Liam."

I continue to me a be a meme, but I have to admit, my first thought was "Poached Liam on toast?
