OK, so I was wrong . . .
Oct. 5th, 2003 09:09 pmRed Sox Nation lives!!!!!
I was so upset that the Sox were losing that I went out for a drive, and I found myself headed to Fenway in the seventh inning.
Of course, I could not park, but I drove around, heard the game-winning hit while in Kenmore Square and listened to the last out just as I parked down on Columbus Ave.
Roamed the city for a bit, found Bukowski's Tavern, which was in a much more obvious place than I thought. Ran into a friend who was working at the Compleat Strategist and came home.
We win at Okland, then face the Yankees, then the Cubs in the Series.
I hope my heart -- and soul -- can handle this.
