First post of the year

I'll look back at the end of the year and see if any took.
Had a great holiday season with a lot of great friends.
I saw 14 LJ friends at New Year's alone. It was great in a lot of ways.
I have not been out of the house since I got home at 4 a.m.ish New Year's Morning.
Spending today alternating between doing schoolwork and aoviding schoolwork.
(This is part of the avoidance).
The Globe had an interesting (albeit obvious) story about how kids as video games become tech-savvy adults. (Apparently, it is not posted on their site).
A couple of facts:
The average age of the U.S. video gamer is 29.
59 percent of the general; public (all ages), has never gone online.
The number for all students is 86 percent.
