Given the fact that it may well get to 50 degrees in Boston this week, it feels kind of strange to be writing this, but the show must go on.
On Feb. 11, when I am sure it will be icy and raw, I will be diving into the ocean at Revere Beach to raise money for Massachusetts Special Olympics.
Thanks in large part to folks on my friends list, I raised $1,000 last year, and I am shooting for $1,500 this year.
I am also in competition with my National Honor Society officers, and if I lose, there's gonna be something like "Duct tape Mr. T. to the wall," and I am not gonna like it.
(No, I am not going to tell you how to donate to my students -- at least not until I get a lead).
Please help if you can.
