Sheesh, I *am* becoming a once-a-week updater.

I know someone who would call me lame for that.

A few thoughts . . .

. . . Depressing that I went to update a Korean War quiz and found the following extra-credit question at the bottom:

______ Extra Credit: About How many Americans have been killed in Iraq

a. 50 b. 250 c. 650 d. 1050

Of course, that test was from two years ago (the answer was c.). Today, the number 2,344 or so would have to be on there

. . . Cool that the Dropkick Murphys have a new music video for Warriors Code. It includes some great Micky Ward boxing clips.

. . . Ironic that I went to an event last week in a town that has fewer residents than the number of people who attended East Kingdom Coronation.

. . . Interesting that Tim Wakefield took the blame for last night hismelf, saying it was not the new catcher's fault . . . and that Bronson Arroyo hit a dinger in his first major league at-bat.

. . . Wondering how many people outside of the journalism business really care about Katie Couric.

Don't you love snow in April?

Especially when some little malcontent decides to write something on the bathroom wall that results in us being outside inn it for maybe 20-25 minutes during lunch.

Returning to my youth Sunday to see Aztec Two-Step, a coupel guys who are older than me. ;)

Ahhh . . . reading . . .

. . . Saving Cascadia by John Nance. Great hard-science thriller.

. . . Conflicts of Honor by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller. Getting near the end and loving the book. Of course, alethea_eastrid d gave me a different copy 18 or so months ago, and I am finally getting around to it. Great stuff so far.

. . . The Miracle of St. Anthony by Adrian Wojnarowski about the trials and successes of a national-caliber high school basketball team at an inner-city Catholic school in Jersey City, N.J.

New music . . .

Live at Fenway Park by Jimmy Buffett Better than ever.
