Quick update . . .

Sometimes, coming home is the best thing.

Long day. Lost a fight with the airline over a ticketing issue. (They're right, but I will tilt at windmills).

I work with stupid people. (And some of them don't know they are stupid) Not all of them are stupid, but some of them are. (Shhhh, don't tell anyone)

I walked in and my roommate asked me if I'd like to have dinner with her family and some really cool friends. Plus she had a someone visiting who understood why I was so excited that the Red Sox signed David Ortiz for the next four years.

I came into my room, and there was a love note from my girlfriend. And a Red Sox CD.

I just popped the Jimmy Buffett "Live at Fenway" CD in, and I am listening to his cover of "Scarlet Begonias," followed by "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."

Better now.

I have a 25-item to do list, and I have been fortified with a large cup of dark roast.

But first I have a meme to do.
