I suppose I should feel some guilt in the fact that I have a day off for a religious holiday, and I am not really following all facets of that religion.

I mean, I will reflect on the day and its importance, but I won't go to church.

I am really glad for this breathing-room day. It would be really hard if I just had one day to get ready for the Habitat For Humanity trip.

I have to get up at about 4 a.m. Sunday to get to the airport (Manchester). I need to be the first one there.

Yesterday was fairly productive, got work done and I got to watch three DVDs -- The Great Big Sea CD from The Hard and the Easy, Boondock Saints and the Firefly pilot.

It was noce to have a little time to sepnd with the roomies. Sometimes I just pass through their lives on the way to and from work.

I am gonna do a bit of writing, then head out to run errands and enjoy the day.

All I can say is the fricking Sox win tonight. I would absolutely love to see Curt Schilling go to 3-0.

More later.

This is for all my Society for Creative Anachronism friends.

We will be doing an auction for the royalty at Boredom War. (I have not yet firmed up just what). Unsure on the format at this point.

We're looking for a few good, quality donations. Commitments to perform services at Pennsic -- cooking, teaching, photography -- are always popular. Most other items are cool, too. I would prefer not to deal with alcohol at this time.

Yes, we're following all the proper rules.

I just finished writing a nearly 1,500-word press release for school.

But I have had a nice lunch with my roommates and have been listening to Jimmy Buffett, posting on LJ and harassing my friends.
